Dr. Goodheart's primary area of expertise is helping those individuals who are struggling with eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder), but she also enjoys the challenge of helping people who are searching for a sense of hope as they face psychological difficulties such as anxiety, depression, mood instability, relationship problems, traumatic experiences, and phase of life or adjustment issues. As Dr. Goodheart works to help clients deal more effectively with challenging life experiences, she integrates intervention strategies from several evidence-based treatment approaches (e.g., Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
